Principal
Principal, Mrs. Megan Elsinger
As principal of Lincoln, Mrs. Elsinger is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operations of the school, which serves approximately 270 students and has approximately 60 professional and support staff.
Mrs. Elsinger assumes this position following her current one at Keystone Area Education Association. In this role, she has been deeply connected to the school improvement processes in the district, including at Lincoln. She has also advised and supported schools and districts in eastern Iowa through her work on the State School Improvement Team, in addition to designing and facilitating professional learning around instructional best practices. Prior to joining the Keystone team, she was an Instructional Coach in the West Delaware Community School District, where she also focused on developing strong instructional practices districtwide. She was also previously a high school social studies teacher and at-risk mentoring coordinator at West Delaware High School.
Mrs. Elsinger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a master’s degree in educational leadership and principalship from the University of Northern Iowa.
